Alberni Wrestling hosts their 33rd Alberni Armada Invitational today, tomorrow and Saturday at ADSS. Clinics and set up get under way later today through tonight, with action getting kicking off tomorrow with the opening ceremonies scheduled to commence at 1:15 in the ADSS Gym.

The always awesome Super Bowl Golf Classic goes Sunday at the Alberni Golf Club. Don't forget to call the Pro Shop at the Alberni Golf Club ASAP today at 250-723-5422 to get a team or just yourself signed up.
Ever since I have moved here I have played almost every year in the Grey Cup and Super Bowl scrambles...a great time, a nice break away from the game and work and life to have some fun!
Super Bowl Scramble
This Sunday February 7th is
the annual Super Bowl Scramble and party.
Please register in the Pro.
Shop, or you can phone 724-5422 with your 4,5, or 6 person teams or as a
single. The teams can consist of all Men all Ladies or a mixed team.
There will be very few rules, just a fun day. Both golfers and non golfers are
welcome to join in the activities. If you prefer not to golf come out for the
lunch and watch the game the big screen TV in the Clubhouse.
There will be 9 holes of
golf with many on course obstacles to overcome. It all begins with a shotgun
start at 12 noon. The kick off is scheduled for 3PM between the Carolina
Panther and the Denver Broncos. After golf come into the lounge relax, enjoy
the lunch and the game, while you sip on a beverage or two.
The price for this fun
filled day is $30 for members and $40 for guests. This entry fee includes Golf,
Lunch and lots of prizes.
