Dogs stuff this weekend....Trevor Linden Night TONIGHT on THE PEAK, Streaming Video on Canucks.com as well

A big night at GM place tonight, as Trevor Linden's #16 will go into the rafters. Oh yah, the Canucks also host the Oilers.

We'll have the Broadcast starting at 7:00 with the pregame show. The play-by-play begins shortly after 7:30.

You WILL NOT see most of the Trevor Linden ceremonies on your TV tonight, as the festivities get going just after 6pm. Fear not, if you have a computer you can still be a part of it thanks to Canucks.com Read more about their coverage that you can watch on the Canucks website HERE

Lots of things happening now with the Bulldogs heading up to their Christmas break.

Friday night is the Bulldogs Canned Food Drive, along with the Salvation Army. Anyone who brings a non-perishable food item will be entered into a draw for a Turkey or Ham!

Saturday sees the Dogs visiting Safeway from noon to 4pm, where they will be selling tickets to support Safeway's "Because we care" charity, so be sure to drop by throughout the afternoon! You can get a hot dog and a pop for $2.00, you can meet the players and get an autographed picture, and if you are one of the first 100 people in the store wearing Bulldog's apparel you'll get a free ticket to an upcoming Bulldog game!

Also, the Dogs are supporting Variety, the Children's Charity.

My friend Angel will be there selling collector pins over the next while....Here's a quick note from Angel's mom..

Can you please start to promote that Angel will be selling Variety Gold Heart Collector Pins and collecting coin drive donations at the AV Bulldog games on the 19^th and the 21^st of December!

This years pins feature Alex the Lion from Disney’s Madagascar movie. Please ask people to wear their hearts on their sleeves and support Variety the Children’s Charity.

Hi to all, please check out the new coin drive total on Angel’s Variety fundraising page by visiting www.variety.bc.ca . this is the total as of today. AWESOME start to the drive. Over $800.00 of it is from the Westcoast, which is great!!

Sorry, that's all the time I have today. I am insanely crazy busy with the U17's approaching, and I'm also in the process of tracking down the entire BCHL for my special "A Very Merry BCHL Christmas" that I'm putting together. And of course "A Very Merry Bulldog Christmas" will be airing soon too. It's a tonne of work putting these things together!
