Dogs host Capitals, Andy Oakes Interview, Dogs trade Pineiro, Press Release from Bryant Perrier.

Good day, it's game day!

The Bulldogs host the Cowichan Valley Capitals tonight at the Pound. Get it all on 93.3 The Peak FM with Port Alberni Safeway Bulldogs Hockey on The Peak kicking off with the pregame show at 6:45 and the puck drop and all the play-by-play at 7:00pm.

My first intermission feature guest is Bulldog affiliate player Brody Lynott, in the line up tonight on the back end. He doesn't know he's the interview yet, shhhhh, don't tell him!

Brody played several games with the Dogs on their interior trip and played well.

I have had several emails already requesting a link to listen to the Andy Oakes interview from "Bulldogs This Week" last night on The Peak.

So, due to popular demand, I will replay the interview over the next three Bulldogs Broadcasts starting tonight with part one airing during the second intermission show. Catch part two during the second intermission show Friday night in Duncan, and get the third and final installment Saturday afternoon in the second intermission show as the Dogs host the Eagles.

PS DONT FORGET SATURDAY'S GAME STARTS AT 3PM.

More news from the Dogs yesterday....

First off was a statement that came from Head Coach and General Manager Bryant Perrier. To read that, head to the Bulldogs website by clicking THIS LINK

Second was a press release announcing that Josh Pineiro had been traded to the Prince George Spruce Kings. Read that release again on the Bulldogs website by clicking HERE

A quick personal note - Josh is a good guy and a friend, and I wish him nothing but success in Prince George and in the future. It's the toughest part of the business, you get attached to these guys after a couple years! I know the fans and friends and billets etc etc etc can all relate! Take care buddy and good luck.

Last but not least on the Bulldog front - Check out my weekly preview for this week, on the Bulldogs Website.

That's it for now!

Why the 3PM start time on Saturday?
