Bulldogs and Clippers meet again tonight

It's down to the final week (and a day) of the 2021 BCHL Pod season, as the Bulldogs (8-3-3-1, 2nd Island) are back in action tonight as they "visit" the Nanaimo Clippers (6-9-0-0, T-3rd Island) tonight at the Multiplex.

The Bulldogs last played Saturday afternoon, where they fell 2-1 to the Cowichan Valley Capitals. The Clippers last played Saturday night, where they dropped their second straight, 6-1 to the Victoria Grizzlies.

This is the sixth head-to-head meeting since April 20th. The most recent coming on last Friday night, a 4-3 Bulldog win in comeback fashion.

The Clippers won the prior meeting on April 26th, 3-2 in overtime.

The Bulldogs won the first three meetings:  5-1 on April 25th,  4-1 on April 20th and by a 6-4 score on April 18th.

Pacific Chevrolet Bulldogs Hockey on 93.3 The Peak FM is on the air at 6:45 for the pregame show. I'll call the play-by-play that follows the 7:00pm Pacific puck drop.

Tonight's 1st Intermission guest is Bulldogs Defenceman Emmanuelson Charbonneau

Tonight's 2nd Intermission guest is former Bulldog Mitchel Deelstra, who this year completed his Freshman season with the NCAA's Ferris State Bulldogs.

Quite the memory here!
