Bulldogs faceoff against Grizzlies today *3:00pm start*

It's the third meeting between these teams already in the pod season, as the Bulldogs (2-1-0-1. T-2nd Island) are the home side in today's match against the Victoria Grizzlies (3-2-0-0, T-1st Island) at the Multiplex for a 3:00pm start.

The Bulldogs last played yesterday afternoon here at the Multiplex, where they earned a 5-0 win over the Cowichan Valley Capitals. The Grizzlies were in action here last night, where they picked up a 6-1 win over the Nanaimo Clippers.

The Grizzlies are 2-0-0-0 in the head to head series, while the Bulldogs are 0-1-0-1. The most recent meeting on Monday night saw the Grizzlies end up on top by a 4-3 score. The previous match up was the pod-opening game for both sides, a 6-5 Grizzlies win in a shoot out on April 2nd.

The puck drops today at 3:00pm Pacific. Catch all the action on Van Isle Ford Bulldogs Hockey on 93.3 The Peak FM starting at 2:45 for the pregame show, with the game action to follow at 3:00pm.

Today's 1st Intermission guest is Bulldog Forward Josh Van Unen.

Today marks the first in my series of alumni interviews, as former Bulldog Captain Mitch Oliver - who recently concluded his Freshman season with the NCAA's Lake Superior State Lakers joins me after 40 minutes.
