Bulldogs host Grizzlies tonight to conclude season series

It's the  final regular  season meeting  between these teams, as the  Bulldogs (24-21-1-2, 4th Island) return  home to host the Victoria Grizzlies (19-29-1-0, 5th Island) to open the month of February. 

The Bulldogs were in Nanaimo last night, where they lost their third straight, 4-3 to the Clippers. The Grizzlies have been idle since Tuesday night, where they won their second straight 5-4 in a shoot out over the West Kelowna Warriors.

The last meeting between the teams was last Friday, a 3-2 Bulldog win in overtime. Tonight's contest is the eighth and final game in the season series between the teams with the Bulldogs having a head-to-head record of 5-2-0-0. Prior to last Friday, the Grizzlies earned a 4-1 win at the Q Centre on January 18th after the Bulldogs earned a 5-0 win the previous night at the Multiplex. December 6th was a 4-3 Bulldog win at the Q Centre. Five days earlier, the Grizzlies were 4-3 winners, again at the Q Centre.   The Bulldogs were 6-2 winners at the Q Centre on October 19th and also won the first meeting of the season 5-3 at the Dog Pound on October 11th.

Tonight's 2nd Intermission guest is former Bulldog Connor LaCouvee, (2013-2014)who's currently playing his second season of professional hockey with the ECHL's Maine Mariners, after being re-signed by the Montreal Canadiens last June.
