FINALLY, the Bulldogs are at home, host Clippers tonight, Toy Run TODAY!

It's the second meeting between the teams in as many days, as the Clippers (1-1-0-0) head over the hump and into Port Alberni to visit the Bulldogs (0-3-0-0) tonight at the Dog Pound.

The Clippers took the opener of this home and home set last night in Nanaimo by a 2-1 score.

There's lots of fun to be had outside the rink before the game, with a live band and a free BBQ  provided to fill you up and fire you up!

Don't forget that the 35th Annual Port Alberni Toy Run thunders into town today shortly after 12 noon! The Bikes will leave Little Qualicum Falls at noon sharp and usually roll into town around 12:20-12:30ish.

If you have somewhere you need to be in town around that time, get there early as you're likely to be delayed. A little delay, is a very small price to pay in my opinion, for everything the Toy Run does for kids - and the entire community all year long.

Get more details on the Toy Run website HERE

It's a busy day for me, as I won't only be broadcasting the game tonight, but I'll be live up at the entrance to the city and down at Glenwood centre broadcasting from the Toy Run festivities from 11:30 to 2:30. You can listen on your radio or online at www.933thepeak.com

Pacific Chevrolet Bulldogs Hockey on 93.3 The Peak FM is on the air tonight for the pregame show at 6:45, with the puck drop and play-by-play to follow at 7:00.

I can't wait to get back on the air inside the Multiplex, and can't wait to have Bruce MacDonald with me as it's just not the same calling games by myself like I've done for the last three. He'll handle colour commentary and analysis, I'll handle the play-by-play and hosting while Dan Tisserand will be on hand to compile and tabulate team and player statistics throughout the game.

Tonight's 2nd intermission guest is Cole Morton the play-by-play voice of the Surrey Eagles, who the Bulldogs host Tuesday night.
