Bulldogs host Grizzlies tonight for Teddy Bear Toss

It's down to the final three games before the Christmas break for the Bulldogs (11-21-1-0.T- 4th Island) as they host the Victoria Grizzlies (22-10-0-2, 1st Island) tonight at the Dog Pound on Teddy Bear Toss night.

The Bulldogs were last in game action Wednesday night in Nanaimo, where they fell 3-1 to the Clippers. The Grizzlies were in Nanaimo last night, where they had their three game winning streak snapped with a 4-3 shoot out loss to the Clippers. This is the last game for the Grizzlies before they head home for their break, as they don't see action again until December 29th.

This is the fifth game of the season series to date, with the Grizzlies winning the most recent contest 7-2 at the Multiplex on November 23rd, erasing a 2-0 second period deficit by scoring seven unanswered goals.  The Grizzlies took the first meeting 5-1 in Port Alberni on September 14th. The Bulldogs won the second match up, 5-3 in Victoria on October 12th followed by a 2-1 overtime win for the Grizzlies at the Multiplex on October 13th.

Don't forget that it's the Teddy Bear Toss tonight - here's a look of some of the Teddy Bear games from years past.....

If you can't come to the game, we will bring it to you as always, on 93.3 The Peak FM's Bulldogs Hockey Broadcasts courtesy of Van Isle Ford. I'll call the play-by-play, Bruce MacDonald provides game analysis and adds colour commentary.

Tonight's 2nd Intermision guest is Dan Marshall, the play-by-play voice of the Nanaimo Clippers, who the Bulldogs host tomorrow for a matinee affair at the Multiplex.
