It's the first meeting between the teams this season - after tonight the Bulldogs (11-23-3-4, 4th Island) have now seen every BCHL team, as the Salmon Arm Silverbacks (15-22-3-1, 7th Interior) visit the Dog Pound.
The Bulldogs were in Victoria last night, where they lost their fourth in a row, 3-0 to the Victoria Grizzlies. The Silverbacks meanwhile began a three-in-three weekend through the Island Division last night in Powell River, playing to a 3-3 tie with the Kings.
Tonight's 2nd Intermission feature is from the BCHL Podcast, hosted by the league's Director of Communication's Brent Mutis. His guest? Bulldogs Assistant Coach and Assistant GM Jeff Dubois. I certainly enjoyed listening to it, and I'm sure Bulldog fans will as well.

If you're looking for something to do throughout the day or night tonight, I suggest you get to ADSS and/or the Alberni Athletic Hall, as the 63rd Totem Tournament is into it's final day. For those that don't know, it's the longest running High School Basketball Tournament in the Province. Action tips off at 9:00am today at both facilities. The Armada Girls are 2-0 after a big 56-53 win last night and will play in the final tonight at 5:45 at ADSS.
