It's the first meeting of the season between the teams, and the opener of a home-and-home set as the Bulldogs (3-5-1-1, 4th Island) visit the Capitals tonight at the Big Stick (1-8-1-0, 5th Island) before the teams meet again tomorrow night at the Dog Pound.
The Bulldogs were last in action Saturday night at home, where they lost their second in a row, 6-2 to the Trail Smoke Eaters. The Capitals last saw game action Sunday afternoon at home, where they dropped their seventh straight game, 4-3 to the Wenatchee Wild in overtime.
Tonight's 2nd Intermission guest is Justis Doucet, the play-by-play voice of the Capitals. Fun fact and a pretty unique story that I can't recall witnessing before - he's the older brother of Bulldog Forward Jackson Doucet.
