Bulldogs and Eagles meet tonight at the Multiplex

A four game home stand continues tonight for the Bulldogs (6-12-3-0, 5th Island) as they host the Surrey Eagles (7-12-2-0, 4th Mainland) at the Multiplex for the first meeting of the season between the teams.

The Bulldogs were last in action Wednesday night at home as they won their second straight, 4-3 over the Nanaimo Clippers in double OT on a night during which they celebrated Jamie Amos' 1000th game. The Eagles had last night off, last seeing action Thursday night at home where they won their second straight 2-1 over the Prince George Spruce Kings in double OT

We'll be live on the air from the Multiplex starting with the pregame show at 6:45, with all the game action to follow at 7:00. I'll call the play-by-play and Bruce MacDonald will provide the analysis and colour commentary with Dan Tisserand compiling team and individual statistics.

Tonight's 2nd Intermission guest is Mike Bordignon, the play-by-play voice of the Langley Rivermen. The Dogs host the Riv for a 2:00pm matinee tomorrow.
