It's back to home ice tonight for the Bulldogs (4-10-2-0, 5th Island) as they host the Powell River Kings (12-7-0-0, 2nd Island) at the Alberni Valley Multiplex.
The Bulldogs were last in action Saturday night in Victoria, where they squandered a 2-0 lead just a minute into the game by dropping their eight straight game, 6-2 to the Grizzlies. The Kings were in Duncan last night, where they won their fourth in a row 9-0 over the Capitals.
It's the second meeting head to head this season, with the Kings coming out on top 5-3 in the previous match up October 7th at the Dog Pound.
The full crew of Dan Tisserand on team and player statistics, Bruce MacDonald on colour and analysis, and myself on play-by-play and hosting will be in the booth to bring the game to you on Van Isle Ford Bulldogs Hockey on 93.3 The Peak FM - the pregame show gets the proceedings going at 6:45, with the puck dropping just after 7:00pm.
Tonight's 2nd Intermission guest is Trevor Miller, play-by-play voice of the West Kelowna Warriors, who visit the Dog Pound tomorrow for a 2:00pm puck drop.
