Jake Witkowski made it 1-0 in the first, from Trevor Cosgrove and Ryan Finnegan.
Ryan Finnegan made it 2-0, from Justin Lee.
Jack Long made it a 2-1 game in the second, but Justin Lee made it 3-1 from Finnegan and Welsh. Witkowski's second made it 4-1 from Finnegan, but the Kings made it 4-2 on a Carter Turnbull goal.
It was 5-2 Dogs early in the second on a Henry Marshall goal, with Jordan Sandhu assisting.
The Kings made it 5-3 in the final two minutes on a Kyle Betts marker , after a very silly turnover by the Dogs at their own line. They scored again on a one-timer centering pass with 14.3 left and the goalie out to make it 5-4. Cam Donaldson got credit for it.
The Dogs made the lead stand as Jordan Sandhu sealed the deal into an empty net with 3.4 seconds left for the 6-4 final.
Shots favoured the Dogs - unofficially 54-42.
Best I can do getting to the rink with 7:00 minutes left!
