Port
Alberni, BC – With the regular season approaching quickly, the Bulldogs are
pleased to announce the acquisition of defenseman Paul Savage (Surrey, BC) from
the Yorkton Terriers in exchange for Future Considerations.
As
a member of the Terriers of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League, Savage
appeared in 78 games while registering 17 points (6 goals and 11 assists) and
119 penalty minutes. During the 2013-14 season with the Valley West Hawks of
the British Columbia Major Midget League, Savage scored 34 points in 40 games
prior to making the transition to Junior “A.” Savage is a strong skater, who
will provide stability, experience, and leadership to the Bulldogs defense
core.
The
Bulldogs would like to welcome Paul and his family to the community of Port
Alberni.
