Dogs visit Grizzlies tonight for Tuesday night affair

It's the second meeting between the teams in just six days, and just the second Tuesday night game this season (the other being Remembrance Day in Powell River) for the Bulldogs (22-19-2-3, 4th Island) as they visit the Grizzlies (21-16-1-9, 3rd Island) at the Q Centre.

A big bounce back effort is needed tonight by the Bulldogs, who dropped a stinker here in Victoria last Wednesday night conceding a season-high eight goals against (the most in the previous 44 games was six) in an 8-3 loss to the Grizzlies. In a big scheduling oddity, the Grizzlies had the entire weekend off and haven't played since that game last Wednesday.

It's incredible how things can change in a week. Six days ago the Dogs travelled to Victoria on a three game winning streak riding high and no doubt feeling pretty good about their game. Now they are losers of three in a row after the loss to Victoria and the back-to-back losses to Nanaimo. The bad news is that they didn't gain any ground in the standings, while the good news is they didn't lose any immediately in front of them or behind them as the Grizzlies were idle and the Capitals had an 0 and 2 weekend as well.
