It's right back at it between these two teams as the Clippers (32-12-0-3, 1st Island) return the favour and pay the Bulldogs (22-18-2-3, 4th Island) a visit tonight after a 3-0 Clippers win last night in Nanaimo to open up this home and home set.
It was an all too familiar tale from the Bulldogs perspective last night as a great effort after 20 minutes was all for naught in just 20 seconds of the second and the rest of the game is a wash. One has to think nothing short of a full 60 minute effort will be enough to beat a strong Clippers team. The only time the Dogs might have had that effort against the Clippers was the last time the teams met in Port Alberni, a convincing 5-0 Bulldog win, their only one in the season series to date.
Catch all the action live from the Multiplex tonight with play-by-play called by me, colour and analysis added by Bruce MacDonald and team and player stats compiled by Dan Tisserand on Van Isle Ford Bulldogs Hockey on 93.3 The Peak FM The broadcast begins with our pregame show at 6:45 with the puck drop and play-by-play to follow at 7:00.
