The Dogs take a 1 and 1 record into Duncan tonight to face the Cowichan Valley Capitals for their second to last Exhibition Game. Their final contest of the preseason goes tomorrow when they host the Capitals at the Dog Pound at 7pm. The Capitals have already played three Exhibition Games, with a record of 1-0-0-2.
I'm not going to make the game tonight but will try my best to provide updates here on the blog. If you are heading down to the game, send me updates by clicking here and I will pass them along!
The 27th Annual Port Alberni Toy Run goes this weekend with all the bikes rolling into town tomorrow, followed by all the events at the Glenwood Centre and finally the dance featuring Chevy Metal, Blacklist and Brady Band.
As always, the dance is sold out, but you aren't out of luck yet - I will be Live On Location for 93.3 The Peak at two different locations today, first off at Coombs Country Candy from 11am to 1pm and then the Howard Johnson from 4pm to 6pm. ONLY those who come see us are eligible to win. We will draw two pairs of tickets just before 1pm and we will then throw all the names out and start all over again at 4pm so you have great odds to win if you come see us!
93.3 The Peak will be covering the bikes coming into town live tomorrow morning so be sure to tune in!
Here's a collection of pictures from the Raise a Reader Road Hockey Challenge Wednesday....as always, feel free to save them and use them at your own leisure, please credit www.hammersdogs.blogspot.com if you do, even better, click the paypal link and make a donation if you appreciate them and/or any other aspect of the blog!
