The Fort McMurray Oils Barons are getting the jump on the N-H-L today as they play host to the Drayton Valley Thunder in an outdoor game.
The Northern Classic between the two Alberta Junior Hockey League teams sold some five thousand tickets within an hour. The forecast is for a chilly minus-eight.
