The Alberni Athletic Hall hosted it's first tournament - the Lem Wong Invitational. Click here for an update on the results

In the Atom Bulldogs Tournament - Oceanside defeated Coquitlam in the final.

Congrats to the Alberni Valley Jr. Bantam Sea Lions, 33-26 winners in the Championship game over the Comox Valley Hornets Saturday at Bill Moore Memorial Park in Courtenay. It had been over 15 years since a local team made the playoffs, but they weren't happy with that - they went and won it all. Way to go fellas!

Soccer updates - The Alberni Valley Masters lost 3-2 to Comox, almost digging out of a 3-0 hole. The Alberni Valley United Boys U12 Reps beat Comox 3-0 with Alexander Berry scoring a hat trick, while the Alberni Valley Impact U15 girls lost 4-3 in Powell River with goals from Dana Williscroft, Elise Hoffman and Chelsea Charlesworth.
