Dogs return home to host Capitals on Breast Cancer Awareness Night

It's the first home game for the Dogs after four straight on the road. It feels like more than that, doesn't it?

It's the Dogs and Capitals meeting again after a 4-3 double OT win for the Dogs last night in Duncan. The Dogs will certainly be looking for a better effort tonight, as according to Assistant Coach Kevin Hasselberg on the post game show last night "we were out worked"

It's hard not to agree with that, and to also agree with the thought that the Capitals might have deserved a better fate.

From the Dogs point of view, good teams just simply find a way to win. The "ways" for the Dogs last night were the great equalizers - goaltending and special teams. Frank Slubowski was great, and the Dogs went 2 for 4 on the power play and 4 for 4 killing penalties.

It will be good to be back in the friendly confines of the Dog Pound tonight.

Don't forget to WEAR PINK and also don't forget to be in attendance if you have entered your name at any of the sponsor locations around town to win one of the jerseys at the end of the game tonight!

Catch the pregame show at 6:45 tonight on 93.3 The Peak FM and online at www.933thepeak.com with Rick and I.
