S'Port Alberni does it again, Bantam Tyees Repeat at Provincial Lacrosse Champs!

Here's the email I got from Jan last night....


Hi Evan,

This is to let you know that the Bantam Lacrosse team has won the 2010 Provincial Championship.

The team was undefeated in this weekends play, beating a team from Comox (8-4) on Sunday to win the title. The Alberni Valley team won the 2009 Island Championship and 2010 Provincial Championship. This team also won the 2009 BC Provincial Championship and now the 2010 BC Provincial Championship.

The 2009 Provincial Championship was the first time a team from Port Alberni has won the Provincials.

 

This will now be the second title for our lacrosse association.
