The Alberni Valley Bulldogs won their fourth in a row with a convincing 9-1 thrashing of the Williams Lake Timberwolves. The T-Wolves were playing their fourth game in as many days, and the further the game went the more apparent that became as they started with some legs but as the game went on the Dogs got better and better while the opposite would be said for Williams Lake.
The Dogs scored on their first four power plays and finished the game 6 for 8 on the man advantage. Wow. That makes it three straight games for the Dogs with at least 3 power play goals - Williams Lake, Quesnel, Williams Lake.
The Dogs were led by David Dziurzynski (2g-3a=5pts) Mitch MacMillan (3g-1a=4pts) and Kevin Ross (0g-4a=4pts)
It was also nice to see Frank Riddle get his first career goal.
One more to go now, and it will be a tough one as the Dogs head down to Duncan to take on the red-hot Capitals, winners of five in a row.

Rumours???
Gregg's blog ?
I've heard the rumblings I'll see what I can find out today.
I just read Drinnan's blog and also Steve Ewen's blog from the Province newspaper.
That sucks. Fenske I can understand since he was "on loan" from the Giants. Losing Mark MacMillan would be awful. Sure hope he doesn't fall for the lure.
I just read Gregg's blog could be an interesting New Year. Thanks for the heads up Kelly. Strange I was just thinking this morning that next year Mark will be tryng to break his brothers record. Guess we'll have to wait and see what plays out.Any thoughts on this Hammer?
Looking forward to the game today, Should be a good one providing noone has visions of sugar plums dancing in their heads. Be nice if it ended in a tie, everyone goes home for the holidays content.
Are you going to have the LIVE chat going today?
Go Dogs Go!!
If they lose Mark, move Tye Lewis up to replace him and put Casey Bailey back on a line with Johnny and Matt. Find a big veteran D man to replace Luke and the team might be okay.
For Mark it might all depend on if he wants to get a scholarship. He can't go to the Dub if he goes the school route.
