Abashiri Day tomorrow, Angel Magnussen's Variety Show.

It was fun to watch this afternoon as the hockey delegation from Port Alberni's sister city of Abashiri Japan took to the ice for a coaching session from the Bulldogs coaching staff and roster. The players from the Northstars looked quite good out there! I managed to get some quick pictures. Enjoy.

The Bulldogs have commissioned commemorative pucks to mark the event as gifts for the Abashiri delegation. *cough cough* I could really use one of these for my puck collection

I would like to say that one of the teams had an advantage in goal....but I'm a nice guy and I wouldn't want to do that to David Aime.

Saturday, January 12 (Port Alberni and Abashiri Teams)

8:45-10:00am  Hockey Game:  PA “house team” vs. Abashiri

Coach Kerr will coach the Abashiri team

All players will leave in time for Abashiri Day

6:15pm Abashiri Northstars meet at Multiplex
(introduction at beginning of game)

7pm Bulldogs Game- PA house team vs. Abashiri team
during the first Intermission

Please give the kids a nice welcome before the game and during the 1st intermission tomorrow!
