It's the first game in franchise history to be played outside of Canada tonight as the Bulldogs (4-7-0-1, 4th Island) visit the Wild (8-4-1-1, 2nd Mainland) at the Town Toyota Centre in Wenatchee, Washington.
This is the third of what will be five straight games for the Bulldogs against the Mainland Division, as they are in Langley tomorrow and Chilliwack on Sunday.
The Bulldogs last played Saturday night at home where they fell 4-2 to the Chilliwack Chiefs.
The Wild were in Chilliwack on Wednesday, where they had a two game winning streak snapped with a 4-1 loss at the hands of the Chiefs.
These teams met a week ago tonight at the Dog Pound, where the Wild emerged victorious 2-1 in double overtime in a wildy entertaining hard fought game. If tonight's contest even comes close to resembling the last one, the fans are going to be in for quite the treat.
Note the unique game time tonight of 7:05pm, which means Van Isle Ford Bulldogs Hockey kicks off on 93.3 The Peak FM with the pregame show at 6:50. I'll provide the play-by-play, with Dan "the stats man" Tisserand joining me to compile team and player stats.
