We're underway for Game 2.
Jackson Glassford starts in net for the AVB.... Matteo Paler-Chow for the PRK.
Line ups here:
Bulldogs 0 for 1 after an early power play chance.
0-0 4:26 in.
Powell River goes up 1-0 on the power play on a shot and a rebound off a scramble. Levi Glasman scores it, Ben Wozney assists.
Bulldogs fail to cash in on another power play, remains 1-0 Kings 8:10 left in the first.
The Kings go to a power play late in the first, but take penalty leading to four-aside hockey before a short Bulldog power play chance before the buzzer.
It's 1-0 Kings after 20 minutes. The Bulldogs begin the second with 22 seconds on the power play.
Shots in the first were 15-12 Kings
It remains 1-0 14:44 left in the second. The Bulldogs had a player taken down on a breakaway, but couldn't earn a call. Seconds later, they tied it to make it 1-1...the goal was waved off. The Referees didn't inform the scorekeepers as to why, but my best guess was that it was kicked in, or that there was contact on the goalie?
The Kings go up 2-0 on a shot and a rebound on the rush at 8:24 of the period, Davis Pennington scored it, from Levi Glasman
The Kings go up 3-0, yet again on a shot on the rush and a rebound, finished past Aaron Trotter, who came on in relief at the midway point of the period. Michael Abgrail scores it, with assists to Jack Brackett and Reilly Moran.
The Kings make it 4-0 at 16:02 on an odd-man rush, as Levi Glasman taps a cross-crease pass into a wide open net. Ethan Reisterer assists.
The hits just keep on coming, as its 5-0 at 15:30, on a shot off a Bulldog defender in front roofed from the lip of the crease by Reilly Moran, no assists were given.
Shots in the period were 24-7 Kings, for a 39-19 advantage after two.
The Bulldogs kill off 1:39 of King power play time to open the period but Powell River further pads their lead 3:31 into the frame as the Bulldogs fail to clear and a point shot is deftly deflected under the crossbar by Ethan Reisterer with Ben Wozney drawing the assist.
The Bulldogs get on the board 5:25 into the third as Jackson Munro walks the line and puts a shot on goal thats deflected off something to find it's way through Paler-Chow. Mitchel Deelstra and Josh Zary assist.
The Kings go up 7-1 on a shot that might've hit a Bulldog defender and bounced in. Nic Porchetta scored it, with Davis Penninton assisted it.
The Bulldogs make it 7-2 at 18:02 as Ryan Novecosky goes high blocker over Paler-Chow, with assists to Dawson Tritt and Ryan Doolin.
Third period shots were 13-7 Bulldogs for a game total of 46-32 Kings
I had the Bulldogs at 0 for 4 on the power play while the Kings went 1 for 6.
