Grizzlies lead 1-0 after 20 minutes. Shots favour the Bulldogs 12-9. Brayden Gelsinger with the goal while short handed. Sounded like a bad/good break depending on what side of the puck you are on as a broken stick at the point led to the goal. The Grizzlies on their Twitter account dubbed it a "lucky break"
The score stayed 1-0 until inside the final minute of play in the second where the Grizzles found the net on a rebound to build their lead to 2-0 with Nick Guiney scoring.
Shots after two periods favour the Bulldogs 24-16.
Victoria takes a 3-0 lead five minutes into the third on a Kevin Massey goal.
Drayson Pears put the Grizzlies up 4-0, before the Dogs got on the board to make it 4-1 on a Nathan Dingmann marker. Joseph Visconti answers back to make it 5-1 Grizz, but Adam Donnelly answers back to make it 5-2. The Grizzlies went up 6-2 on a PJ Conlon goal with less than two minutes to play, before Mitchell Barker adds a short handed empty netter to make it 7-2 with a minute to play for the final score.
Final shots favoured the Bulldogs 39-33.
First regulation loss for the Bulldogs as they conclude the exhibition season with a record of 2-1-1-1.
