Blogger back...Bob Dailey Track Celebration tonight, Drop in Basketball, Atom/Pee Wee Tourney this weekend...

Excuse the lack of posts so far this week. Recovering from the road trip while still being busy at work, and trying to make up for lost time away at home makes blogging take a back seat. All easier said than done with a 3 year old and a 3 month old!!

Don't get me wrong, it was great to get on the road with the guys and get to know more about what they are all about. It also always a lot of fun to visit the various league rinks and catch up with Coaches, Broadcasters, fans, etc. I also always enjoy the opportunity to meet some of the new Bulldog parents and run into some that I know already but haven't seen in a while!

The refurbished Bob Dailey Stadium will officially open with the Alberni Valley Track Club hosting a Track Opening celebration tonight at 5pm. They are inviting members of the community to omce out and celebrate the new track and the revitalization of the facility.

It's not just about a track of course, football and soccer are played there, and coutless events are also hosted there, ie - Relay for Life, Starlight Movie Night, etc!

Here's a note if you are looking for some fun on the hardcourt!

Could you mention this on the air-
Drop-in basketball for boys and girls in grades 4-8 on Fridays starting October 11th at 6:00-7:30 PM at old Klitsa gym. Drop in fee is a twoonie. Please tell all your friends. Text or call 250 735-1441 for more info

If there is a better Minor Hockey Association website out there than the AVMHA site, you are going to have to show it to me to prove it, because I don't believe it exists!

Roxanne does an amazing job on the Alberni Valley Minor Hockey website, find it, and bookmark it by clicking HERE

You will find all the details, results and schedule of the Atom and PeeWee tournaments going on this weekend, and all things Minor Hockey!
