The Alberni Valley Bulldogs have added 92 F Brandon Adams from the Dubuque Fighting Saints of the USHL. Adams, a 5th round pick in the USHL draft comes from playing last season with the Chicago Young Americans Major Midget Program. The 5’11”, 180 pound Illinois native posted 25 goals, 19 assists for 44 points in 48 games.
“Brandon will add speed to our lineup and be able to play in all situations,” comments GM/Head Coach Paul Esdale. “Brandon is a great young player, eager to learn and prove himself at the BCHL level. We are very excited to add Brandon to our team “adds Esdale.

The Bulldogs won round one of the season series back on September 18th, a 4-3 OT win
On the other side of the puck, with a 1-1 tie at home last night against Powell River, the Clippers are winless in 6 games. The tie does stop a five game losing streak for the shipmen.

This all comes on the heels of yesterday's incident where the Team USA Rain Gear was SO BAD that they had to do shopping at a souvenir tent. Bet that was pricey! Read more HERE
Today, they are rocking Mauve Sweaters. That's right. MAUVE. SWEATERS.
Out of all the things I expected Team USA to be wearing - and let me tell you I REALLY had an open mind going on their history of wearing the weird - I still would have never expected to utter the two words "Mauve Sweaters" haha!
Apparently they are a "dash of the past"
In design maybe, but certainly not in colour. These could very well be the very first Mauve sweaters worn in history on the golf course actually!
At the time of this writing the USA is leading, so maybe the clothes are getting the job done!
