GAME DAY - Bulldogs @ Grizzlies. Live Game Chat Tonight...Bobby Boo?

After a home stand that saw them take 10 out of 12 points, now the Dogs have 8 points up for grabs with four straight games away from the Pound. It all starts on the road tonight at the Bear Mountain Arena in Victoria for their second meeting of the season against the Grizzlies.

The Dogs and Grizz last met in a very tight game in the Bulldog home opener, a 3-1 Dogs win where the Grizzlies were the better team but they couldn't beat Frank Slubowski as they out shot the Dogs 41-17.

Victoria enters tonight with a record of 4-3-0 and 1. While they ended September on a three game win streak the Grizzlies went 0 for 2 at home last weekend to start October, losing 3-2 to Cowichan on Friday, and 3-2 in overtime to Langley on Saturday. Having said that, the Dogs had best bring their A game as the Bear Mountain Arena is a tough place to play, and the Grizzlies will definitely think they left two points behind in the Dog Pound and they'll want them back on their own turf tonight!

Catch the pregame show at 7:00, with the puck drop slated for 7:15.

I ditched the live game chat after the second home game as it just didn't seem like people were too interested in it. Now that we are back on the road I'm going to give it a shot again tonight. What better way to spend a Tuesday night than listening to or watching the game and hanging out with other Bulldog and Grizz fans chatting about the game!

The chat will be live sometime before 7pm right here on the blog.

How about those Canucks, and how about Bobby Boo. You could hear the whole entire province last night when the fourth one went in "$%@$%@$% ARE YOU SERIOUS" is probably how it went...I think they should have put him back in to try to work through whatever is wrong with his game. At the same time, maybe he didn't want back in and maybe Vigneault didn't want things any worse. And they certainly looked like they could have gotten worse in a hurry.

I feel for Luongo, wow.

So, about the Canucks 0 and 3 start to the season...Well I know a certain blogger who saw this ALLLL coming.

From my THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 24th post

"I'm almost worried about the Canucks because they have looked so unbeatable in EXHIBITION action so far. I'm predicting the 'Nucks to have a tough start to the REAL season. Why? I'm not sure, but I just think they will. The hockey gods work in weird ways."
