Another heartbreaker for the Dogs on Saturday as the Clippers scored 24 seconds into overtime to leave the Pound with a 4-3 win. It was the second straight OT loss for the Dogs. As heartbreaking as the last two no doubt have been for the team, they have to at the same time be happy that they are picking up points.
Plain and simple, they need TWO points every single night. At the same time, they are 2-0-0-2 in their last four games. In the 10 games prior to the Dogs 5-4 OT win over Surrey, they picked up points in just two games. In the ten game stretch before that one, the Dogs only picked up points in ONE game.
So points in four straight is a pretty marked improvement. And one can only hope the current trend keeps up.
