Island pod action continues tonight as Bulldogs "host" Grizzlies

 

It's the second meeting between these teams in four days and the third game for both clubs in the same span as the Bulldogs (1-0-0-1, 2nd Island) "host" the Grizzlies )1-1-0-0, 3rd Island) tonight in Island Division Pod action at the Multiplex.

The Bulldogs last played Saturday night, where they came back from down three goals in the third to beat the Cowichan Valley Capitals 5-4 in overtime. The Grizzlies last saw the ice Saturday afternoon, where they fell 4-3 to the Nanaimo Clippers.

Head-to-head, the Grizzlies emerged victorious by a 6-5 score in a shootout in the inaugural pod season game for both teams Friday night. 

I'll bring the game to you tonight through Van Isle Ford Bulldogs Hockey on 93.3 The Peak FM. Our Broadcast commences with the pregame show at 6:45, with the game action to follow at 7:00pm Pacific. 

Tonight's 1st Intermission guest is Bulldog Forward Adam Jeffrey.  Dan Marshall, play-by-play voice of the Nanaimo Clippers on our sister station 106.9 The Wolf  in Nanaimo joins us after 40 minutes.
