The Bulldogs were in action last night at home, where they stretched their winning streak to seven straight, while extending their season-long unbeaten streak on home ice to eight games with a 4-3 win over the Cowichan Valley Capitals.
The Vipers were in Powell River, where they won their sixth in a row, 5-3 over the Kings.
It's an interesting story when one looks into the Vipers schedule this season. The Vipers entered play last night on a five game winning streak - it was preceeded by a four game losing streak. They were in Powell River last night, where they began an ELEVEN game road trip - holy cow. They've already played nine road games - but they've only been out of the Interior Conference once, to Chilliwack. When they return home after their eleven straight on the road run is complete, they'll play 22 of their final 33 games at home.

This Week's episode of the Island Division This Week is our 2nd Intermission feature - if you haven't heard it yet, the premise is simple. It's a compilation of previews, recaps and highlights from all the Island Division broadcasters, courtesy of Dan Marshall, Nanaimo Clippers play-by-play voice on our sister station, 106.9 The Wolf FM in Nanaimo.
