Bulldogs host Eagles tonight

(image: Josh Fowler)

It's the first meeting of the season from an opponent outside of the Island Division, as the Bulldogs (1-3-0-0) host the Mainland Division's Surrey Eagles (2-1-0-0) tonight at the Multiplex.

The Bulldogs last saw action Saturday night at home, where they snapped a season-opening three game losing streak with a 3-2 shootout win over the Nanaimo Clippers in their Home Opener.

The Eagles have been idle since Friday night, where they suffered their first loss of the season, 3-0 to the Express on home ice in what was their Home Opener, after they took back-to-back games on the opening weekend up in Prince George against the defending league champions.

93.3 The Peak FM will be live from the Multiplex for Pacific Chevrolet Bulldogs Hockey starting at 6:45 for the pregame show, in advance of the 7:00pm game time.

The full complement of our broadcast crew will be in the booth - Dan Tisserand tabulates team and player statistics period-by-period, Bruce Macdonald provides colour commentary and analysis and I'm responsible for the play-by-play.

Tonight's 2nd Intermission guest is Justis Doucet, the play-by-play voice of the Cowichan Valley Capitals on Juice FM in Duncan as the Bulldogs visit the Caps on Friday night.
