Port Alberni, B.C. - Hammer's Bulldog and Bombers Blog

It's a rare Thursday contest on tap tonight, as the Bulldogs (16-29-3-0, 4th Island) head down Island to visit the Grizzlies (29-16-0-2, 2nd Island) at the Q Centre.


The Bulldogs were last in action Sunday afternoon at home, where they dropped their second straight, a 3-1 decision to the Surrey Eagles. The Grizzlies also last played Sunday afternoon on home ice, where they saw a two game winning streak halted with a 4-1 loss to the Vernon Vipers.


These teams last met January 2nd in Victoria, a 3-2 Grizzlies win in overtime. The previous meeting in Victoria was a 5-3 Bulldog win on October 12th.

Tonight's 2nd Intermission guest is former Bulldog Eric Therrien, incredibly already into his Senior season...wow does time sure fly... with the NCAA's Concordia University Wisconsin Falcons.
