Bulldogs visit Centennials tonight in Merritt

It's the second and final regular season between the Bulldogs (7-11-1-0, 3rd Island) and the Centennials (12-8-0-1, T-1st Interior) at the Nicola Valley Memorial Arena in Merritt.

The Bulldogs began their weekend last night in Prince George, where they dropped their second straight 2-1 to the Spruce Kings. The Centennials meanwhile were in Penticton, where they dropped a 4-3 shoot out decision to the Vees.

Much like the Prince George Coliseum, the Nicola Valley Memorial Arena is a grand old barn, and another unique playing surface. It's smaller than regulation, and things happen very very fast and there is no bad place to try a shot on goal.

Here's a look inside, in video form. The video is several years old now, and thankfully the heaters you see below as of two years ago were relocated and are no longer a factor when it comes to the broadcaster's sight lines of the rink!

Tonight's pregame show is on the air at 6:45, with the play-by-play to follow the 7:00pm puck drop. Get it all on 93.3 The Peak's FM Bulldogs Hockey presented to you by Pacific Chevrolet

Tonight's 2nd Intermission guest is Jacob Bestebroer, Colour Commentator and Director of Scouting for the Chilliwack Chiefs - sorry, the defending RBC Cup National Champion Chilliwack Chiefs, who the Bulldogs visit tomorrow.
