Bulldogs visit Grizzlies tonight to open Home and Home set

After seven straight games for the Bulldogs (4-7-0-0, 3rd Island) against out-of-division opponents, it's the first of back to back games against the Grizzlies (8-4-0-0, 1st Island) tonight at the Q Centre.

The Bulldogs were last in action Saturday night at home, where they picked up a 4-3 overtime win over the Trail Smoke Eaters.

The Grizzlies last played Sunday in West Kelowna, where they had a six game winning streak snapped with a 4-1 loss to the Warriors.

Tonight's meeting is the second between the teams this season, the previous being a 5-1 Victoria win spoiling the Bulldog Home Opener on September 14th.

If you can't make it down to the Q Centre, we'll bring the game to you on Pacific Chevrolet Bulldogs Hockey on 93.3 The Peak FM, with the pregame show on the air at 6:45 and the game action to follow at 7:00pm. Bruce MacDonald will be on hand to provide analysis and colour commentary while I'll take care of the play-by-play and hosting responsibilities.

Tonight's 2nd Intermission feature is this week's edition of "Island Division this Week", courtesy of Dan Marshall, the play-by-play voice of the Nanaimo Clippers on 106.9 The Wolf in Nanaimo.

If you missed it last week - the premise is simple. It's a recap of the week that was, and a preview of the week coming up with the Broadcast voices of all the BCHL's Island Division teams.
