It's right back at it tonight for the Bulldogs (1-0-0-0, T-1st Island) as they get back on the bus to head back down Island to visit the Grizzlies (1-0-0-0, T-1st Island) at the Q Centre.
The Bulldogs were of course in action last night in Nanaimo where they picked up a 4-1 win over the Clippers. The Grizzlies were in action on home ice, where they topped the Powell River Kings 2-1.
As fun as last night no doubt was, and while the Bulldogs should certainly have some swagger to their step and some confidence, come tonight it means absolutely nothing. There's a fine line between confidence and cockyness, and the Dogs need to know it will take a hard working 60 minute effort - or more - if they hope to head home with another two points. The Grizzlies always work hard, and are always tough to beat in their own rink.
