Bulldogs add Rizzolo, move Lentz

BULLDOGS TRADE FOR DEFENSEMAN

Port Alberni, BC – The Alberni Valley Bulldogs have acquired defenseman Darren Rizzolo from the Vernon Vipers in exchange for Future Considerations.

Rizzolo comes to the Bulldogs with 60 Games of “Junior A” experience and a high profile. The 5-foot-11 defender from Mission, BC is an alumnus of the Yale Hockey Academy and has secured a NCAA Division 1 scholarship to Northeastern University.

To make room for Rizzolo, the Bulldogs have traded Tyler Lentz to the Calgary Mustangs of the Alberta Junior Hockey League. The Bulldogs would like to thank Tyler for his efforts and welcome Darren and his family to the Bulldogs organization.
