Dogs host Clippers tonight for third straight head-to-head meeting, Teddy Bear Toss night

It's yet another meeting between these two great rivals as the Bulldogs (14-9-1-2, 3rd Island) host the Clippers (20-8-0-0, 1st Island) for the third time in a row tonight at the Dog Pound.

The Clippers have won four in a row, while the Bulldogs have lost two straight, and all four of the head to head meetings this season with an 0-3-0-1 record head-to-head being a huge reason that the Clippers hold a 9 point lead on the Dogs for first in the Division, albeit with the Bulldogs holding two games in hand.

After a game last Wednesday where the Bulldogs were clearly fatigued, or for whatever reason not at their best, they put forth a much better effort at Home on Saturday night, however it still saw them on the wrong end of the scoreboard. Here's hoping they can get over the hump tonight.

The full crew will be back in the Broadcast Booth tonight for Van Isle Ford Bulldogs Hockey on 93.3 The Peak FM as I will provide play-by-play, Bruce MacDonald will be back calling the colour and analysis and Dan Tisserand will compile team and player stats.

It's Teddy Bear Toss night! Here's hoping that the Dogs can get a goal early, because as silly as it sounds the pressure mounts the longer the bears sit in the stands.

It's a great thing for the community and for the team to do, as they head out and visit Hospitals and Care Homes and deliver the bears to those less fortunate and those that need a lift during the Christmas season.

Here's some flying fur from years gone by.

Tonight's 2nd Intermission feature guest is Langley Rivermen Play-by-Play voice Jake Elliott - the Bulldogs host the Rivermen Saturday night at the Dog Pound.
