Port Alberni, BC – The Alberni Valley Bulldogs announce that they have acquired the playing rights of 1994-born veteran forward Eric Therrien from the Drayton Valley Thunder of the AJHL. Therrien played the last three seasons with the Lloydminster Bobcats (AJHL) before being moved at the December 1 deadline to Drayton Valley. Therrien, from Willow Bunch, SK, put up 11 goals and 18 assists in 59 regular season games last season along with 5 assists in 9 playoff games for the Bobcats.
Therrien, who is 6'1" and 190lbs, instantly adds 145 games of experience to the Bulldogs' line-up.
Going the other way is 1996-born rookie defenseman Jeff Rose. Rose, who is from Calgary, AB, put up 1 goal and 2 assists in 28 games this season for the Bulldogs.
The Bulldogs would like to thank Jeff for his contributions to the team both on and off the ice. At the same time we are excited to welcome Eric to the Bulldogs Family.
Therrien is expected to join the team on Thursday.
