Home Opener TONIGHT, Toy Run tomorrow, Terry Fox/Car Show/Game Sunday!

Hockey is FINALLY here as the Bulldogs debut on Dog Pound ice for the 2012-2013 season tonight when they host the Cowichan Valley Capitals in the first installment of the "battle of the valleys" head to head match up.

93.3 The Peak FM starts broadcasting live at 4pm with Jolie McMullan moving her show to the Multiplex parking lot...in the event that you need more than the BBQ benefiting KIDSPORT to entice you down to the rink early she is bringing additional sweet swag with her to give away, such as a sharp looking CCM/Taylor Made RBZ one piece and a autographed Bulldogs Jersey!
Our pre game show on 93.3 The Peak kicks off at 6:45 with all the play-by-play to follow at 7:00 with myself and  Bruce MacDonald, who I'm very happy to have beside me in the booth for colour commentary and analysis...also very happy to have the famous (infamous?) Dan "the stats man" Tisserand back in the booth compiling game stats for as many games as he is able to make!
Here's to some more moments like this one!!

Watch the game live through the BCHL's PPV Video Broadcast provider FAST HOCKEY

The 28th Annual Port Alberni Toy Run goes tomorrow! For all the details, check out their website HERE

OR - keep it tuned to 93.3 The Peak as I will be broadcasting live from 12 noon to 3pm!

Don't forget that the Terry Fox Run goes Sunday! Bulldogs Assistant Trainer/Equipment Manager Jamie Amos was last years Fundraising Champ...he has gone one better this year, already breaking the local fundraising record! Way to go Jamo, and way to go everyone that supported him! He will be getting my money tonight, and I encourage you to bring a couple bucks to the rink if you can spare it!
