The Dogs open their 2012 portion of their schedule when they head to the Lower Mainland for a one game roadie to face Coquitlam tonight.

The B.C Children's Hospital Festival of Trees is winding down at the Best Western Barclay Hotel. Friday at 5pm is the deadline to see the trees and vote on the 93.3 The Peak FM/Van Isle Ford "People's Choice Award" to win an Apple iPad 2. Part of enjoying my "down time" over the holidays without Bulldog Hockey was getting out with friends and family and taking part in some Alberni Valley Christmas sights and sounds, and the Festival of Trees was one of them - I threw together this video to have some fun - enjoy taking a look!
