KHL Coach loses it - video - busy week ahead for Dogs

A busy week ahead for the Dogs as they make their first trip of the season down to the Bear Mountain Arena to face the Victoria Grizzlies on Wednesday before returning home to host the Coquitlam Express on Friday and the Langley Rivermen for the first-ever time on Saturday night.

Gotta love Junior Hockey, or Hockey in general...isn't amazing how fast things can turn around, from good to bad? For sixteen or so minutes Saturday the Dogs looked maybe as good as they have looked all season, running up a 3-0 lead on the Clippers and looking like they were going to run them right out of the rink. Maybe it was the worst thing that could've happened as it appeared that the Dogs started to change their game a bit, press for more, etc. Next thing you know everyone is caught deep, it's a breakaway and a 3-1 score. Next thing you know the Clippers look great and the Dogs look awful and its a 4-3 Clipper lead, then 5-3. The Dogs battled to get it back to 5-4 but they couldn't tie it up. Here's hoping the team learned a thing or two and can "park it" and move forward into Wednesday night. It's not how you start, it's how you finish - the Clippers have proved that, falling down 2-0 early last week in Victoria, and 3-0 at the Dog Pound, before fighting back to win games.

Some fun was had at a recent KHL game as Vityaz Chekhov Head Coach Andrei Nazarov goes "Donald Brashear" on fans behind his bench. Yikes!
