Faust Fantastic, Clippers 5 Dogs 2, Adam Todd gone to the WHL, Alberni Golf Club Men's Club update...

An exciting game last night at the Dog Pound, for the first half at least, but not the result that the Dogs or their fans wanted as the Clippers won the first game this season of the "hump series" 5-2 at the Dog Pound.

The Dogs failed to score first for the second straight game, the second straight game they have lost and the second they have lost this season. Billy Faust, and the Dogs failing to capitalize on power play chances, were the difference in this one. Faust was especially outstanding late in the second when the Dogs had an extended 5 on 3, making back to back to back to back sensational saves.

Of concern to Dogs fans has to be the absence of  Dylan Nowakowski in the 3rd period, and the late game injury to Trent Dorais.

Next up for the Dogs is a visit to Powell River Friday.

Another concern is the apparent departure of Goalie Adam Todd - click to read more HERE
