2-2 after 1

The Clippers went up 1-0 at 4:12 of the first despite the Dogs holding a 6-0 lead in shots on a Kyle Kramer goal, assisted by Trevor Fitzgerald.

The Clippers then took a 2-0 lead late in the period on an unassisted Ryan Hunter goal at 18:10 as he slid his own rebound home five-hole.

The Dogs answered right back seconds later with Tanner Hicks scoring on a rebound, with assists to Bryce Perpelitz and Tyler Berkholtz at 18:23.

Ryan Lough would tie the game up at 19:30 potting a rebound, with assists to the Kalashnikov brothers.

Max Fenkell is in net for the Dogs, Chris Eiserman is in net for the Clips.

The Dogs went 0 for 3 on the powerplay while Nanaimo was 0 for 1.
