Evan Tironese Commits to the Bulldogs

The Alberni Valley Bulldogs would like to announce that 95 F Evan Tironese
has committed for the 2011-2012 season.
The Qualicum Beach, B.C native, played for the Notre Dame Argos of the Saskatchewan Midget AAA league. Tironese posted 21 goals, 22 assists for 43 points in 52 games last season. The 5’8” 160 pound Tironese will fulfill the new BCHL requirement that all teams must carry a 1995 born player on the new 21 man roster.
“The commitment of Evan is huge news for the future of Alberni Valley hockey. Even at the young age of sixteen, Evan will help our hockey team,“ comments Head Coach/Assistant Director of Hockey Operations Paul Esdale.
“We wanted Evan on the team before the rule changes, now with the mandatory 95 born player on the roster, this addition secures that we have one of the top 95 born players in B.C,”states Esdale.
“Evan comes from a great program in Notre Dame, which will help him make the transition to the BCHL. We are very excited to have Evan come to the Bulldogs and look forward to him contributing immediatley to the team,” adds Esdale.
