Raise a Reader Ball Hockey TONIGHT, WFN's Ultimate Fishing Town - VOTE VOTE VOTE, Trent Dorais in the AV Times, NCHL Round Up,

Don't forget to check out the Raise a Reader Celebrity Ball Hockey game at the Multiplex Parking lot tonight. BBQ at 5:30, Ball Drop at 6:30!   Read more on the game from the BCHL Website

In the BCHL last night the Merritt Centennials beat the Vernon Vipers 5-4 in double OT, and the Penticton Vees beat the Prince George Spruce Kings 3-2 in double OT. There were just 875 people at Penticton's South Okanagan Event Centre for the game. I can't imagine what 875 people in a 5000 plus seat rink looked and sounded like, but I'm guessing it was somewhere between morgue and library. It wasn't too "alive" with 1700 people in it when the Dogs visited the Vees last year, I can't imagine what last night was like.

Yes, please, VOTE VOTE VOTE, we are trailing Nestor Falls!

There is a nice feature in today's Alberni Valley Times on Dogs Captain Trent Dorais. Click here to READ IT
