Bulldogs Acquire Colton Sobchak from Merritt

The Alberni Valley Bulldogs would like to announce that
they have acquired the playing rights of 90 F Colton
Sobchak from the Merritt Centennials in exchange for
future considerations.
Sobchak, a 20 year old winger from Kelowna, has played
the last two seasons for the Merritt Centennials. In the 2008-
09 season, Sobchak posted 11 goals and 18 assists for 29
points. Last season, Sobchak continued to improve and
scored 19 goals and 33 assists for 52 points in 55 games.
"Colton is a proven scorer at our level. He can skate, shoot
and plays hard. He will make an immediate impact in our
lineup," comments GM/ Head Coach Paul Esdale. "We are very excited about acquiring
Colton and look forward to having him wear a Bulldog uniform in the upcoming season,"
adds Esdale.

Welcome Colton Sobchak!
He sounds like he's going to be a good fit into the roster! I can't wait to meet all of them and watch them play. It should be a good season :)
