More Friday stuff....Zolnierczyk named Captain of Brown, Alberni Golf Club JUNIOR OPEN HOUSE TOMORROW

A cool story out of Brown University today, as former Bulldog Harry Zolnierczyk has been named Captain for the upcoming season. Of course the last Brown Captain was another former Dog - Devin Timberlake was Captain last year.

There's even more Bulldog-Bear connections. Read more from the Bulldogs Press Release Here

Cool stuff. Congrats to Harry. And congrats to the Dogs organization.

The Alberni Golf Club JUNIOR OPEN HOUSE goes tomorrow from 1 to 3pm.

It's FREE and open to ANY KID under the age of 18.

Have the kids there by 12:30 if you can, and by 12:45 at the LATEST as they want to be fully underway by 1pm.

Kids will learn about ball striking on the range, about the keys to the shortgame on the chipping green, and about where all the "dough" is, yup putting - on the putting green.

Instruction will come from Head Pro Bruce MacDonald, Assistant Pro Brian Rands, and a variety of other volunteers who know the game!

The best thing about it all is that it's FREE. The second best thing is that the kids will be fed a BBQ lunch afterwards. The third best thing - there will be PRIZES!

For the kids, they probably see things in the reverse order -

#1 WE GET PRIZES! #2 WE GET FED! #3 IT DOESN'T COST MOM AND DAD A CENT!

Get the kids out for this, I went last year and it was a great time!
