THE PEAK to host PREGAME PLAYOFF PARTIES+ROAD HOCKEY, Clippers, Chiefs, Mills 1 win away,

The Nanaimo Clippers are a win away from advancing to the second round after a 4-1 win last night at the Bear Mountain Arena.

A win tonight at the Frank Crane Arena would set up a second round meeting between the Bulldogs and Clippers with games 1 and 2 Tuesday and Wednesday at the Dog Pound.

But that's a long ways off still. As they say, the hardest one to win is the fourth one. The Clippers will be trying to buck the trend as the visiting team has won every game in the series so far. The Grizzlies will try to continue the trend for one more night to force a game 7 at home.

Staying with the Coast, the Surrey Eagles are facing elimination tonight at home as the Langley Chiefs took a 3-2 series lead with a 7-3 win last night in game 5.

The Dogs will be watching that series closely as well, as they face the Eagles or Chiefs in the event of a Victoria series win over Nanaimo.

So the scene for Tuesday could be set as early as tonight. OR, it could be as clear as MUD until Sunday night if the Grizzlies force Game 7.

The Quesnel Millionaires (in the playoffs for the first time in 7 years) are also a win away from an upset of the Salmon Arm Silverbacks to advance on the Interior side.

The Dogs are doing their best to make the playoffs an event that EVERYONE needs to be a part of. Making the playoffs for the first time in a couple of years, only to have to wait a couple of weeks through the bye, isn't the easiest way to "strike while the iron is hot" so to speak.

They have tried their best to keep the community interested through the down time with their Awards Banquet, with their Fan and Family Appreciation Skate, their 3rd Jersey Auction, and of course with their BEWARE OF DOGS "Make the Rink Red" for playoffs campaign....

Now that the playoffs are actually just DAYS away (man, I'm getting a little excited) things are REALLY picking up with this announcement from THE 93.3 PEAK crew yesterday.

To say it's going to be a rockin' atmosphere outside the Multiplex for Tuesday and Wednesday might be an understatement!

Read on....

Tuesday March 9th at the Multiplex starting at 4:30, the Peak is going to be Live!

Jolie is going to be giving away tickets to the game - but you can't just get them, you have to work for them.
